PRIORITY SECTORS

Prospective free zone investors can invest in the manufacturing, service or commercial sector.The following sectors have been identified as priority areas for foreign direct investment. Ghana has comparative advantage in these areas and is capitalizing on this advantage to attract investment into the country. These are:

i. Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

ii. Textile/apparel Manufacturing

iii. Agro-food Processing

iv. Seafood Processing

v. Jewelery/Handicraft Production

vi. Metal/Hand Tool Fabrication

vii. Floriculture

viii. Light Industry/Assembling Plant

xiv. Ceramic Tiles Manufacturing

x. Pharmaceuticals

xi. Ethnic Beauty Products

Also, investors can invest as enclave developers to provide
necessary on-site infrastructure on designated export processing zones or propose their own land to be designated as export
processing zones, for lease to other investors. The following sectors are however not exclusive.

Potential investors can invest in any other sector which falls within the mandate of the Free Zones Board.
